Asheville Dream Center: We are here to serve and love our city so that individuals and families are healed, restored, and empowered to live out God's plan and purpose for their lives! The Asheville Dream center is an outreach arm for churches and businesses to getinvolved in local missions. Our desire is to reach our community in meaningful ways, providing practical resources, and buildingrelationships to share Christ with our neighbors. We are currently booking church groups to serve local communities in various ways.
Asheville Humane Society: We believe that every animal deserves a life worth living. From one-on-one adoption counseling to behavior classes, education to ongoing care, we’re here for people and pets far beyond love at first sight.
Atomic Furnishing: During the storm, like many others, 6 large trees fell down on our home property in Burnsville, so it took us hours to get out to check on our store in town. By the time we got to town yesterday afternoon, the river had gotten up to the Lowe’s roof, where we would normally turn to our store. I had left my car in that parking lot the night before because I didn’t want to drive home in the pouring rain without Todd. We came back today and Todd was able to walk down to our shop. We can’t believe the utter devastation. Everything we have worked so hard for is gone along with our precious vendor items. Before all of this, we were in the process of shopping for new insurance coverage since our current one does not cover water damage, so we will likely not get any assistance with this.
Brother Wolf Animal Rescue: Our shelter has been flooded due to the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene. Communications are currently limited, and response times will be slower than usual as we focus on recovery and formulating a plan to move forward. If you were not impacted and can provide a monetary donation, it is critical now more than ever. Generous donors are matching gifts up to $850,000 right now. Making anything you donate twice as impactful.
Meredith & Robert’s Home: Meredith and her partner Robert escaped with their pets and their lives in Hurricane Helene, but lost everything else to the flood waters. They live in Yancey County, one of the hardest-hit areas in WNC. Please help us support them as they rebuild their lives, from scratch. Pictured is what they came back to. Any help is appreciated to help lighten this heavy load! Funds will go towards pressing basic necessities of food, clothing, and shelter and anything else for establishing a new home.
New Origin Brewing: We are Dan Juhnke and Brian Fetting, the founders of New Origin Brewing out of Asheville, NC, a grass roots, locals centered brewery that we built by hand in 2019 and poured our hearts and savings into for three years. On Friday, September 27th, 2024 our small business was destroyed by Hurricane Helene, leaving us with nothing but a large debt due to the bank that our insurance will not fully cover. We need your help.
Samaritan’s Purse: We are providing relief throughout Watauga County, North Carolina—home to Samaritan’s Purse international headquarters in the town of Boone. The response, which began Sept. 30, also extends to include neighboring counties in North Carolina and eastern Tennessee.
